Family Always Comes First

When our co-founder Ashley was younger, her Dad, Mike, took her to shoot for the first time. She instantly fell in love with the sport, and has since developed a deep love for empowering women to take charge of their own safety.

Her and her younger sister shoot together as often as they can at their favorite range, often joined by Mike. 

From safe storage, to handling and carrying, Mike took the time to instill in his daughters the level of responsibility and control that one must have when owning and handling firearms.

Ashley and her mom, Diana, created Kinsey Rhea to help women feel safe and ready in all situations. 

Kinsey Rhea fundamentally understands that feeling safe and ready, is knowing how to properly store, carry and handle your personal protection of choice. 

While we love our Muddy Girl concealed carry bags, Ashley and Diana recognized the need for a solution for women needing a more subtle, professional line of purses that look as great in the office as they do walking down the street. 

Building a Lasting Legacy

Ashley’s sister is currently attending law school in a large city that isn’t exactly known for being the safest place to walk alone at night.

She prefers to carry personal protection as often as she can, just to be on the safe side. She needed a bag that wasn't frumpy, would be easy to draw from and keep her busy life well organized. 

Kinsey Rhea is made for women who carry, by women who carry.

We believe that knowing how to protect yourself - whether you carry lethal force or not - and doing so responsibly, changes how you view yourself.

Is it going to guarantee your safety? No. But it shifts your mindset. You feel empowered, in control and confident that you can handle whatever comes your way.  

For Mike, passing on his knowledge of guns to his daughters means they are empowered, confident and strong. For Ashley, it’s knowing her little sister is capable of protecting herself if she ever needed to.
