What’s in My Concealed Carry Bag? Everyday Essentials for Women on the Go
If you're anything like me — juggling school drop-offs, business meetings, travel plans, and an ever-growing Target receipt — then you know your bag isn’t just a bag. It’s a survival kit. And for many of us in the 2A community, it’s also part of our personal safety plan.
So today, I’m opening up my Kinsey Rhea bag to show you exactly what I carry daily — and how I stay prepped, protected, and organized no matter where life takes me.
Here's What's Inside...

1. My Concealed Carry Firearm

Let’s start with the obvious — my firearm. I carry my Smith & Wesson EZ Shield, and it rides comfortably and securely in the locking compartment of my Rissa Crossbody. I love this bag for its sleek, modern style and easy-access design. It includes a holster and locking zippers, so I know I’m the only one who can access it.

2. Spare Magazine

Carrying a spare mag gives me peace of mind. I keep it in the second pouch of the bag’s internal organization panel — easy to grab, but safely tucked away.

3. Pepper Spray

Because not every situation calls for a firearm. I like having a non-lethal option that I can access fast, especially in situations where I may not want to reveal I’m carrying.

4. Flashlight

I never realized how often I’d use this until I started carrying one regularly. Whether I’m walking to my car in a dark parking lot or searching for lost Legos under the couch, my mini tactical flashlight illuminates with power and reliability that my iPhone just can't touch.

5. My Mommy Must-Haves

You’ll always find these floating in my bag:
  • Baby wipes (even though my kids aren’t babies anymore)
  • Hair ties
  • Snacks (hello, goldfish)
  • Bandaids
  • Hand sanitizer
  • A mini notebook + pen (blog ideas hit anywhere 😉)

6. Charger + Power Bank

Because phones are lifelines, and mom-brain is real. I never want to be out of juice when I’m trying to pull up directions, call my husband, or check in with my girls.

7. Lip Gloss + Concealer Stick

Because looking put together makes me feel confident — even when life is chaos. And I don't go anywhere without my Fenty gloss.

Final Thoughts
Concealed carry for women isn’t one-size-fits-all. It’s about building a bag that matches every shape, size, and season of life that only women and moms will understand.
And remember: carrying is only part of the equation. Ongoing training, situational awareness, and mindset are key to protecting yourself and those you love.
